Video Consultations

Use the guidance below if your clinician has asked you to take part in a video consultation using Vidyo.

Take part in a video consultation using Patient Access

Tip: Make sure the device you are using to connect to the consultation is not on mute, or your clinician will not be able to hear you.

  1. Sign in to Patient Access in the usual way.
  2. In the Appointments section of the dashboard find the video consultation appointment.
  3. Beside the appointment details, click Join.
  4. If the Clinical has alredy joined you'll be connected directly, otherwise you'll be in 'the waiting room' unti they join you.

Settings and controls

During the consultation, you can use the Vidyo settings and controls as required. These are summarised in the table below; for full details of how to use them, see pages 8 and 9 of the Vidyo user guide.

Open the Configuration and Status screen.

Toggle between the conference time and a clock.

End the conference.

Enter and exit full screen.
