v2.8.9 - 12 October 2023

This release includes various enhancements and bug fixes:

  • You can now access the Healthcare Services section from your Patient Access dashboard.
  • The COVID-19 Vaccination Card has been moved from the dashboard to the Immunisation section of your Medical Record. *The COVID-19 Vaccination Card is only available to patients in England.
  • We've made improvements to the mobile number verification process.

This release includes various enhancements and bug fixes:

  • Improvements around Smart Pharmacy user information.

  • Ability to opt in to be notified when forms are available to be submitted at the GP practice via Health Advice.

  • Video calls will no longer be supported on the Firefox browser.

V2.7.8 - 26th August 2021

  • Get health advice changes when forms are disabled by the GP Practice.
  • Each tab of the Account now contains information around the purpose of the tab, for better user understanding.

  • Multiple user experience improvements within the website including accessibility improvements.
  • Medication Assistant: Toggle to be available to users with access to repeat medication and medical record.
  • Medication Assistant: Prompt to be displayed at login inviting users to activate Medication Assistant.

v2.7.5 - 22 July 2021

  • Tab structure improvement on Account:
    This structure has been improved and the tab design is now chnaged from drop down, back to how it was originally intended -  in horizontal tabs. 
  • Resilience: 
    If clinical systems (EMIS Web only) are temporarily unavailable, there will be the ability to let users sign in, but with limited functionality and appropriate messaging. This does not however currently cover PCS.
     - Users will be able to login, but will see a message on the home page detailling limited functionality / connection with with the GP pracice.
     - All GP services will be unavailable as clinical system is unavailable.
     - In such circumstances, users won’t be able to see any booked appointments temporarily, including marketplace appointments. However, once the GP service is resumed, normal functionality will be resumed.
  • Data Erasure:

     - Delete account from Ops portal functionality will make Data Erasures simpler : the current functionality of Delete account button is modified so that full data erasures happen instead of holding the records in a separate deleted table.

     - Support will no longer need to send scripts to hosted.

     - The Delete from ops portal or Delete from email link will erase the data fully, causing no IG compliance issue.

  • Smart Pharmacy profile page to be available to the Patient Access users within the repeat medication section.

  • Introduction of a new module "Your Reads", that makes a variety of health articles and information available to Patient Access users.
  • Users can customise the content they wish to see within their account.
  • Users can follow and unfollow the various categories to be able to read aticles that are relevant to them.

  • Abandoned cart notifications for users who leave the booking mid journey.
  • Support in Flu eligibility checked to two distinct services for the NHS flu jab for over and under 65, to cater for availability per age group.
