&lt;li&gt;From the home page of your Patient Access app, navigate to &lt;strong&gt;Patient Services&lt;/strong&gt;. &lt;p&gt;Following your GP instructions for that medication, select one of the 3 frequencies available:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul style="list-style-type: disc;"&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Daily.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;At regular intervals, e.g. every 2 days.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;On specific days of the week, e.g. Monday.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You can cancel a medication orderyou have made through Patient Access, as long as the order is still in progress and hasn't already been accepted or rejected.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A medication order can be cancelled from two places within Patient Access:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Patient Access homepage&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Repeat Medication&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Cancel your medication request from the homepage&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If the medication order you want to cancel is the latest order you have made, the quickest option is to use the Patient Access homepage.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Select the &lt;strong&gt;Latest repeat medication order&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;card on the homepage.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Smart Pharmacy is new functionality that will help patients and pharmacies to engage, connect and communicate more efficiently.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Through a fully digitised flow, patients will now be&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;able to&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;order&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;their repeat prescriptions&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;and then&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;track the status&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;of and be&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;notified&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;about changes to&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;their order as it moves from their GP through to&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;their Pharmacist and then&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;ready to collect or&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;marked&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;as&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;'&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;out for delivery'&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;. &lt;p&gt;At any point, patients are able to see the current status of their order, and they will receive push notifications when any updates to their order are made.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;The screenshots below show what a user will see if they have&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://support.patientaccess.com/repeat-medication/smart-pharmacy"&gt;Smart Pharmacy&lt;/a&gt; enabled. Users that do not have Smart Pharmacy enabled will see a more condensed view.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The most recent order will be displayed in the Medication Orders section of the homepage.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Select &lt;strong&gt;View all&lt;/strong&gt; or select &lt;strong&gt;Repeat Medication&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;from the dashboard to view all orders. The Repeat medication orders section is split between&amp;nbsp;'Recent Medication' and 'Archived medication orders'&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;The items in the Archived medication orders section will display any orders placed in the last 12 months.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;If an order is rejected by your practice, a reason is usually provided. Select the rejection on the website, or select &lt;strong&gt;View Details&lt;/strong&gt; on the app, to view the reason (GP comments).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Please note that Patient Access can be used only for requesting repeat prescriptions, not acute or one-off medications&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Acute medication is for information only (if more is required, contact your practice).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Repeat dispensing items (when a clinician has, for example, authorised 10&amp;nbsp;issues of medication over 10 months) should be collected &lt;g class="gr_ gr_58 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="58" data-gr-id="58"&gt;&lt;g class="gr_ gr_59 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" id="59" data-gr-id="59"&gt;direct&lt;/g&gt;&lt;/g&gt; from your nominated pharmacy at the appropriate intervals. &lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;If you would like to request repeat medication, follow the steps below.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;Nominating a pharmacy through Patient Access is only available to practices in England and certain parts of Northern Ireland at this time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class="glossary-terms" title="317"&gt;EPS&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;(Electronic Prescription Service) makes it possible for your prescriptions to be sent electronically to your pharmacy of choice. Your pharmacy of choice is referred to as your &lt;strong&gt;nominated pharmacy&lt;/strong&gt;. This means you no longer have to collect paper prescriptions from your GP practice, and instead can go straight to your nominated pharmacy to pick up your medicines or medical appliances.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;More information on the service can be &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/AboutNHSservices/pharmacists/Pages/eps.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;located here&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;. Check with your GP practice to see if they offer the service. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
