&lt;li&gt;Select any of the appointments displayed to view more information about them.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Book Appointment&lt;/strong&gt; to go to the Book Appointments screen.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you have had or been offered a flu vaccination before, you may already have been invited by your practice for a flu vaccination this year. However, you can now check if you are eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination, using the eligiblity checker in Patient Access.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The eligibility checker is accessed from the homepage and will take between 1-2 minutes to complete. The questions are based on the NHS flu vaccination eligibility criteria. Answering these questions will help you understand if you are eligible for a free vaccination and allow us to give you relevant guidance on accessing NHS flu vaccination services.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;If you are not eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination, you can still book a private flu vaccination at a &lt;a href="https://support.patientaccess.com/appointments/book-appointment"&gt;pharmacy using Patient Access&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Questions&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Eligibility can be checked by any patient, or by someone acting on behalf of a patient. The questions are based on:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Age group&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Pregnancy&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Long term medical conditions&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Employment&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;h3&gt;Outcomes&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Based on the information provided, the eligibility checker will provide one of the following outcomes, and the subsequent options.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h4&gt;&lt;strong&gt;You are or may be eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h4&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Guidance will be available advising to wait to be contacted by your GP practice or the NHS.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Not eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You will be directed to book a&amp;nbsp;private pharmacy appointment. This will navigate you back to the Patient Access &lt;strong&gt;Services&lt;/strong&gt; page.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Flu vaccination is not suitable for you&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;You answers suggest that you are not eligible for a flu vaccination&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;h4&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Eligibility advice&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h4&gt;

&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;&lt;span&gt;Some&amp;nbsp;non-GP appointments will be chargeable and payment will usually be taken online. The online payment method is added when you book your first pharmacy appointment, it can be edited when you book future appointments, or a new payment method can be added. To delete the payment method, or set a particular card as the default, access&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;My account&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;(available when you select your name), then&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Payment methods&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Use the Payment methods section of Patient Access to do either of the following:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;h3 id="2910_what_is_video"&gt;What is a video consultation?&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A video consultation allows you to speak to your clinician or healthcare professional from the comfort of your own home without needing to visit your GP practice or care provider. Video consultations are, therefore, a great way of seeing your clinician or&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;healthcare professional&lt;/span&gt; if you're unable to attend your GP practice or care provider in person.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3 id="2910_what_is_required"&gt;What is required for you to take part in a video consultation?&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;&lt;span&gt;Y&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;ou'll be contacted directly by your GP practice with instructions on what is required and how to join the video appointment.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;In general terms, to take part in a video consultation you will require the following:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Access to the internet though the laptop with a compatible browser.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Access to the internet through a mobile device.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A web cam and microphone for laptop access or a mobile device with a camera and microphone.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;h3 id="2910_book_a_video"&gt;Book a video consultation with your GP practice&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-critical"&gt;You must connect your Patient Access account to your GP practice to book GP appointments. Please&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://support.patientaccess.com/your-profile/linked-practices" target="_blank"&gt;click here&lt;/a&gt; for step by step guidance on how to connect to your GP practice&lt;b&gt;.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;If you would like to book a&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;video consultation&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;with&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;your &lt;strong&gt;GP practice&lt;/strong&gt;, follow these simple steps.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;a href="https://support.patientaccess.com/signing-in/sign-in-with-your-user-id-or-email-address" target="_blank"&gt;Sign in to Patient Access&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;using your email &lt;em&gt;or&lt;/em&gt; user ID and password.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Select &lt;strong&gt;Book new&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;from the Upcoming appointments section of the homepage, or&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select &lt;strong&gt;Book Appointment&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;from the dashboard.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Under the 'Your GP practice services' section, select the appointment type that refers to video or video consultation.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;The appointment type is only displayed if there are available appointments to book.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;If you would like to book a&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;video consultation&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;with&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;a different service provider, follow these simple steps.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Select the service provider you wish to book a video consultation with and then to the right of this select a date and time for your appointment. To view more dates use the arrows to the left and right. &lt;p&gt;At the &amp;lsquo;Confirm your booking&amp;rsquo; screen you can double check and edit you information if needed before confirming the booking. Once happy, click the tick box next to &amp;lsquo;I agree to the Additional Services Terms of Use&amp;rsquo; and then select &lt;strong&gt;Book appointment&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you are booking a paid service insert your online payment method. You can use the tick box next to &amp;lsquo;Save for future payments&amp;rsquo; if you would like your payment information to be securely stored for future bookings so you are not required to put your online payment method details in again.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After you have done this select &lt;strong&gt;Book appointment&lt;/strong&gt;.&amp;nbsp;Your video consultation has been successfully booked.&amp;nbsp; You will receive a notification to your email of this appointment. You can also choose to &amp;lsquo;Export as calendar event&lt;strong&gt;&amp;rsquo;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;or&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;lsquo;&lt;/strong&gt;Add to Google calendar&lt;strong&gt;&amp;rsquo;&lt;/strong&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3 id="2910_take_part_in"&gt;Take part in a video consultation&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From 13 December 2023 there is no longer the option to 'Join' a video appointment through Patient Access. The appointment will be hosted by a 3rd party provider selected by your care provider. &lt;li&gt;Locate and select the appointment you wish to print.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select &lt;strong&gt;Print&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt; The appointment details are printed.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;

&lt;h3&gt;Add to calendar&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you use an online calendar, e.g. Google calendar, and would like to add an upcoming appointment to the calendar, follow the steps below.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Select &lt;strong&gt;Appointments&lt;/strong&gt; from the dashboard.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Locate and select the appointment you wish to add to the calendar.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select either&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Export as calendar event&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;or&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Add to Google calendar&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt; The appointment has been added to the calendar.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;You cannot add a past appointment to a calendar.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Alternatively...&lt;/h3&gt;

&lt;p&gt;To start the booking process, you need to select one of the following:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;From the Upcoming Appointments section of the homepage, select Book New.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Using the menu list on the left hand side of the homepage, select Book Appointment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;Within the Book Appointment screen, both GP and non-GP appointments will be displayed, with GP appointments being displayed first and non-GP appointments below. If your Patient Access account is not linked to your GP practice, the GP appointments section will not be visible.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;h2 id="1999_GP"&gt;Booking GP appointments&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Under &amp;lsquo;Your GP practice services&amp;rsquo;, select the type of service you would like to book e.g. general GP appointment, telephone appointment etc.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;

&lt;li&gt;If required, you can filter appointments by specific clinician, gender or language.&amp;nbsp;The option to select language is not available to all users.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Select the appropriate time.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Add the reason for your appointment. For example, this might include the symptoms you&amp;rsquo;re experiencing so your GP is aware prior to your appointment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select Book Appointment. The appointment has been booked.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;You can choose to print, export or add the appointment to your calendar at this point by scrolling down.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;h2 id="1999_non_GP"&gt;Booking non-GP Appointments&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;Some non-GP appointments may be chargeable and payment will usually be taken online. The online payment method is added when you book your first non-GP appointment, it can be edited when you book future appointments, or a new payment method can be added. &lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;If a service contains at least one provider that charges for the appointment, a &lt;strong&gt;&amp;pound;&lt;/strong&gt; will be displayed. If you hover over the icon, a tool-tip will also appear.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;If the service is chargeable (and payable online), you will be prompted to add your online payment method (your card details). This may not always be an option and you may need to pay at your appointment. If you have previously added a payment method and ticked &lt;strong&gt;Save for future payments&lt;/strong&gt;, your card details will automatically populate or you can choose to add a new payment method.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Check all of the details.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select &lt;strong&gt;Book appointment.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Your appointment has been booked and you will receive an email confirming the appointment details.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Home test kits&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p class="highlight-important"&gt;Some services are available to purchase as a home test kit. A small &lt;strong&gt;Home delivery&lt;/strong&gt; icon will be displayed in these instances.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
