We’re excited to announce the beta release of our updated app, Patient Access. We’d love for you to be among the first to experience it. Your input will play a key role in refining and enhancing our app which is used by millions of users in the UK.
By joining our beta program you’ll get:

Step-by-step guide for testing beta versions
- To get started, click on the early access link here.
- Download and install the Beta app from the Google Play Store on the device you’ll use for testing. Follow the instructions on the Play Store page to install it on your Android device.
- Start Testing:
Open the newly installed Patient Access beta app from your Android device's home screen, explore its features, and interact with the app as you normally would. You can test each new build the developer releases as they become available. - Provide feedback:
Share your feedback directly through the Google Play Store beta feedback option by selecting “Write feedback” when you scroll down. Highlight any bugs, performance issues, or suggestions to help the developers improve the app.
- Update to new builds:
As developers release updates, you’ll receive notifications through the Play Store to download the latest version. Install each update to test new features and fixes.
How to revert to a previous version of an app on Android
- Uninstall the beta version:
Go to device settings or the Play Store, find the Patient Access app, scroll to the 'You're a beta tester' section, and tap the Leavebutton. Wait a few minutes for the Play Store to sync. This will remove the beta version from your device and show the stable version for installation.
- Reinstall the public version:
Visit the Play Store, search for the Patient Access app, and download the latest public version to return to the stable release.
